Welcome — Here's How This Works

You've paid, and your cohort starts on a date on your dashboard. This lesson explains what happens between now and then, and how the ten weeks run once they start.

It takes fifteen minutes. The short version: you don't have to wait for anything. Week 0 is open now, and it's the difference between arriving at Week 1 ready and arriving cold.

1. The calendar

Every cohort runs on the same shape.

2. Why confirmation exists

Each cohort runs with a minimum number of students, because live sessions and the community work badly with too few people. Most cohorts pass that minimum well before the date.

If yours doesn't by its confirmation date, you'll be emailed before the start with a choice: move to the next cohort — keeping everything you've done, including Week 0 — or a full refund. A cohort that has been confirmed never moves.

3. The weekly rhythm

Once the course starts, a week looks like this:

Every live session is recorded. Missing one is fine; missing several in a row is when people fall behind, so if a week gets away from you, come to office hours rather than going quiet.

4. How to use a lesson

Each lesson has four parts:

1. The reading — the idea, the prompts you can copy, and the common mistakes.
2. Resources — templates and checklists you keep and reuse.
3. Hands-on practicals — do at least one. This is where it actually sticks.
4. Knowledge check — a few questions to confirm you've got it.

At the bottom of every lesson there's a Mark lesson complete button. It saves your progress to your account, so it follows you across devices.

5. What Week 0 is for

The four lessons after this one each set up something you'll use all course:

Measure your baseline	A timed number you'll beat in Week 10

The baseline is the one people skip and regret. Your capstone is judged on a before-and-after result, and "it feels faster" isn't one.

6. Getting help

• Stuck on a lesson — bring it to Wednesday office hours.
• Account, payment or access problems — email [email protected].
• Something in a lesson is wrong or out of date — tell us. AI tools change quickly, and we'd rather fix it than have you trip over it.
